Step Into the Light…
Tessa Quiñones is a science-fiction fantasy writer in South Florida working on her debut novel, Blue Light, an exciting space epic, who also writes short stories and reflections on her growth as an author.
Tessa came to us looking for a way to introduce the world to her passion for sci-fi writing and to promote her upcoming debut novel. She wanted a home for the many short stories and musings she had written but never published. She needed a brand built from the bottom up, including brand collatoral, messaging, audience development, and guidance on how to grow her new artistic pursuit online.
After developing her Brand Road Map, we focused on creating imagery and logos evocative of the vast mysteries of space to easily communicate that her focus as an author is on science-fiction/fantasy. Throughout her website, we put images of the night sky, stars, planets, and space and her fonts are techy and futuristic. Her color palette’s various blues and greys make one think of spaceships. We manage her blog, which consists of personal reflections and short stories, including designing the blog imagery to match the post content. We also gave book clubs who may want to engage with her and her work an easy way to invite her to be guests of their club. The goal was to build an avid community of readers for Tessa in preparation for the publication of her novel.
“I’m not usually pleasantly surprised, but I was really delighted at the quality of the site, the artwork & imagery.”
I’ve received so many compliments on my website. Before working with V3, I needed a website to promote my debut novel, Blue Light, and to introduce the world to my writing as a sci-fi fantasy author. I really enjoyed the process. TC is very talented, listens intently, and delivered a beautiful website. Her eye for the artwork, branding, and color, attention to detail, and her ability to illustrate my ideas exceeded my expectations.
