TC Headley Joins Lauderdale Lakes Mayor and Island Space Cofounder for Women’s History Month Panel

V3 Inbound CEO TC Headley was invited to participate in “Generational Women in Leadership”, a women’s history month panel discussion hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Lauderdale Lakes. She represented for millennial women and small business owners on the panel, which discussed what led her to start her business, the challenges faced by being a young black woman entrepreneur, and words of wisdom for women who are thinking about beginning their entrepreneurship journey.

The panel also featured Veronica Edwards-Phillips, Mayor of Lauderdale Lakes, and Calibe Thompson, Co-Founder and Board President of Island Space, the first and only pan-Caribbean heritage museum in the United States.

The Kiwanis Club of Lauderdale Lakes was formed in September 1998 by 26 members passionate about making the world a better place for children. They serve the Lauderdale Lakes community through annual community service projects like Christmas in July, KCLL Story Time, the Back-to-School fair, participation in the annual Relay for Life and Breast Cancer walks, and by providing multiple scholarships to graduating students in the area.
